Glass Beads

These are some glass beads that I made.
Basically, you take those cylinders of glass on the right, melt them with a very hot flame, wrap the molten glass around a mandrel and hope that you don’t burn and/or set yourself on fire.

I was going to ask on the “More Glass Beads” post how you did them, but, fortunately, I read a little further down.
They are awesome. I am going to have to try that. Although, I left my blowtorch back in Canada and I still haven’t find a suitable art supply store her ein Madrid (in Canada, I used to frequent Omer Deserres).
